Many of those Solutions modules live happily in the Doepfer rack with no
5V power adapter.  Some need the adapter.  But the adapter's really
nothing more than a little thingy with a heat sink attached, that you
plug into the Doepfer power bus -- couldn't be easier.  Just check
whether the VU module needs the adapter.
