Re: [Doepfer_a100] 188-2 issues...

2015-07-13 by Zubo Karijes

Hi Neil,
Thanks for your reply. I am not having issues with the cock noise but the feedback which seems to have a problem. I am not comparing it to 188-1 but to a few videos that I saw about 188-2. In fact, single stage outputs don't yield a clean sound either…. I guess I should send it back...
Much Appreciated

The output switch is identified on the website as an error. The 188-2 outputs always have some clock noise apparent; again this is flagged up on the website. Also check you have the attenuators set to the centre as they are polarisers.
The 188-1 is cleaner if that's what you are after but you have less options!!

    Hi All,

I bought a new 188-2 and have the following issues: The output channels are swapped - the top row of dials affects the second channel…+ much worse, the output always seems to have some feedback going on even if the dial is at zero, I cannot get a clean response demonstrated in some Youtube videos…. Any ideas? Docs about the trim settings?
Cheers
Zlatko
