A132-4 hot output signal

2014-11-30 by sj230962@gmail.com

Got my A132-4 last week and just wanted to check something with you knowledgeable folks.

I ws feeding output from A140 ADSR into CV,1 audio in from filter, out to external mixer. The output was *really* hot (loud). I had to route the signal via the attenuator module to keep it workable even with the faders turned almost to zero.

1. if I'm feeding in ADSR output on a regular basis, should I trim the potentiometer to handle 8V as suggested in the manual ? (yes, I did RTFM..haha).

2. Is it easier to route the A140 output via the A183-2 to attenuate the CV first before feeding into CV1 on A132-4 ?

I'm learning all the time, so appreciate the help.
