I recently bought an as rs-95 vco. They are not directly compatible. Rs has no cv and gate bus, and the order of the power lines on the as is different.  Just changing the connector type on the end of the ribbon cable will almost certainly damage your module.

 You need to build or buy an adapter. I made my own but ive seen them about, synovatron has some on ebay right now (searched for doepfer adapter) but im pretty sure there are others available
