I think returning the module should be the better solution, but I 
understand that you don't want to wait another three weeks.

The part is C8 which is a polyester or polypropylene capacitor 22nF 25V.

The module will work without it (this is only a damping capacitor, which 
is intended to keep away potential ripples on the power bus).

Maybe you can agree with Thomann, that they send you another new A-152, 
and you send the damaged one back as soon as the new one arrived.
