In the loop mode the unit is triggered by itself but the signal shape (discharge curve of a capacitor) remains the same. The A-142-4 info page of our website says "in this mode the unit is triggered by itself like an LFO". Only the re-triggering is like an LFO. But the waveform is still the same. The waveform is the same as if you would trigger the unit by an external LFO. Best wishes Dieter Doepfer
