Doepfer

This question is specific to patching modules together.
Two different size racks are being used, side by side.
Has anyone attempted this?
Are a separate set of 1/8" to 1/4" mono cables enough to transmit signals (gates,cv's) back and forth)
or would some attenutation have to occur?

I just want feedback, and any words of caution before attempting this. The last thing i would want to do is void any warranties.
