You may simply turn it off. If you want to adjust the relation please refer

The pin of JP6 can be used also to apply a voltage in the
range -5V...GND...+5V to adjust the relation between internal VCO and
external signal (GND = same level, -5V VCO only, +5V external signal only).
If a jumper is put on JP6 -5V are applied (i.e. VCO only).
