You can feed any audio signal with line level to the DE audio input (i.e.
typ 1V level). But it's not possible to use a microphone or electric guitar.
These need to be amplified. If you want to adjust the level of the external
signal (in relation to the internal VCO) and external attenuator (e.g.
A-183-1) or amplifier/attenuator (e.g. A-183-3) is recommended.
