If you mean "without normalisation" (no internal connections, as suggested in the manual), then: yes, sure. Simply skip what's suggested in the manual, and connect to sockets where appropriate. Or use [socket]switches, and combine both... (à la ARP 2600). I've done it that way ~ each module is separate, so patching at least *something* is always a necessity. Partly because that's my philosophy, and partly because I use banana sockets.
