A-185-2 problem

2008-09-21 by noiseoutsourced

I'm baffled at the solution to this problem.

ok, here goes.

I have a total of four A-185-2 Precision CV adders in my Monster case for use primarily as
range switches for a pair of PlanB Model-15's and Livewire AFG's.

The AFGs reside on the lower left bus board while the Plan B's reside on the bus board
directly on top.

When i plug the A-185-2's into the bottom busboard their negative positions only work
with one switch (and of the 4, but only producing 1 octave down, not 2,3 or 4) the positive
positions push the range up as is should with no problems. The A-185-2's on the bus
board above that work just fine. When i swap the top units with the bottom units the same
problem persists. so its not the two new A-185-2 units. Both +12 and -12 LEDs are
brightly lit on both bus boards. i even took out the AFG modules to see if it was a MA
overloading issue and the problem was the same.

I made sure all of the connections from the power supply to the bus board were not loose.

ummm, any help? :(
