Sorry to post this question again but no one responded to my previous
post...

What is the procedure to swap cart(s) in the Epson 2400 to suppress
the cleaning cycle to minimize ink loss?

I don't do this as a routine, so please correct me if I'm wrong.  I think,
however, if you push the button to change inks, let the head move to the
position where you can get to the carts, and then pull the plug, you'll be
able to change carts without the printer "knowing" it.
