Digital BW, The Print

sorry to be off topic, but I wondered how people are dating their prints - do they put the date of capture or the date of printing, or both?

If I use a date it is just the year and is part of the title

  "Summer Storm, Mt. wilson, 1997"


I also sequentially number the prints (on the right side next to the
signature), and keep a record of each print, including the printing
date, paper, size, and other details.  So a numbered print could be
identified and dated later if needed.
