Digital BW, The Print

Is there a way to find out any sort of 'page usage' counter (not the
waste ink usage counter) for an Epson 2200/2100? I'm wondering whether
the printer firmware saves this & if so whether you can persuade the
printer to print it out in some way.

The reason I'm asking is I'm selling my 2100 to somebody who used a
2100 previously for heavy professional work load & 'wore theirs out'
in 2 years. They want to know how much use mine has had, so it would
be nice to be able to get an objective number e.g. the number of pages
printed, and compare it with the one from their 'worn out' 2100. As
they are a friend of a friend I don't want my 2100 to stop working
soon after selling it :-)

The Epson manual has no help on this.
