Call me crazy - but I just got a 2400 and exchanged the black ink to
NanoChrome K. My idea is to make b/w prints with QTR, but using the
OEM K3 LK, LLK, LM, and LC to fine-tune the tone.
On HPR 308 (I have 3 year old paper), I get Dmax of 1.8 after 2 hours
dry-down, at the 85% patch using QTR "calibration" mode. Miles away
from 2.0 you are getting with your 2100.
My numbers, it seems are consistently lower. Perhaps it is the
densitometer I am using. Would it be too much to ask you to post me a
1 x 1 inch Dmax patch on HPR? You could send it on regular size
envelop.
