QuadToneRIP/QTRgui

Does anyone know if there exists a manual which can be downloaded
that explains how to use QuadToneRIP/QTRgui? Or is it included in
the downloaded programs and I just don't know how to access it?
Thanks, Edward

Yes Edward, at least there is on the Windows QTR, goto Roy's web
site and download it, after the install is complete, goto Help and
there is a help file that will give you a list of what most
everything does.

It's not that hard as Steven has a great job fith the interface!

Play around with it, and make some really good looking B&W prints.

there is a 'help' file available by tab in the GUI which gives a fair
amount of info, although some things remain mysterious, like 'super
1400' dpi and how to use the debug messages.

from the version 2.1.12 help file (Glossary):

1440 super: Eight pass printing at 1440 dpi (reduces the likelihood of
banding)

The debug mode is primarily for me to see what is happening. Unless we ask
you to run with debug set, you should not be using it as it provides the
average run no useful information. (Almost everything is contained in the
log file.)
