QTR Not working, now that I dowloaded new setup

QTR Not working, now that I dowloaded new setup

I just downloaded the new QTR 2.1d then downloaded the new 2.1.11 QTR
gui after the first error and I keep gettting a windows errror message
every time I click print, I can load the image, set my curves, and
then I always get a message stating Quadto Printer.exe has encountered
an error and must be closed once I click print.  I have checked and
removed all older versions with the handly removal tool, i have my
image in 8bits, grayscale, non compressed, my printer is loaded, it is
shared in windows as Quad2200.  Any other ideas what is going on?

Here is a txt file generated that looks like it might have some debug
info in it.  Any help would be appreciated so I can start printing
again.

Where did you find this text file? What was it's name? The file seems to be
a listing of some sort of the files in the QuadToneRIP\bin folder.
 
Have you tried changing to Batch file mode? (See the help text under
"Troubleshooting".)

I found this txt file in the windows temp folder, when I clicked for
more info under the windows error it led me to it.  I haven't tried
changing to Batch file mode,  I don't want to print more than one copy
of any of the prints I have tried, I will look into it but I am really
wishing that I had not erased the old version of QTR and gui, it
worked everytime I used it, and it wasn't that hard to set up.  Not
sure what I did to screw this up, or if the program is just having
some issues.  Any ideas what I can do to make it work again, or does
anyone have saved older copies of QTR?

The old version of QTRgui is still on the WEB site. You will have to first
uninstall QTRgui then install the old version.

Ok, thank you.  Any ideas why it didn't work - did the error message I
 posted below give any hints, i liked the new setup, just wish it
would work on my pc.  Thanks for your help and your hard work with this.

What resolution are you printing at? There have been some problems printing
at 2880. Try a different resolution.

I'm running w2k and when using 2880 am getting the following 
error: "quadprinter.e.exe has generated errors and will be closed by 
windows".  No problems when using 1440 resolutions.

I was the person who sent the txt log.  Then the error message that
popped up in the ImagetoRoaster window afer I tried to run in batch
file mode.  I am running Windows XP Pro SP2.  Sorry, I erased the
majority of the previous messages to keep them from being so long.

There are two known problems:
 
Pipe mode does not work on Windows 2000. We are working to try to understand
why. This problem manifests itself as pressing the print button and nothing
happens. You may get an error saying QuadToPrinter could not open the raster
driver.
 
Some printers have problems printing at 2880 resolution. Don't do that. The
curves were built for 1440 resolution anyway. This problem manifests itself
as ImageToRaster crashing.
