Removing print head

Removing print head

2004-04-09 by Richard Smallfield

Hello,
I have not one, but two 1200's with impossibly clogged heads.

I read the instructions on the MIS site on how to remove the head and place it in distilled water to clean it out.

I got about halfway through the procedure, but could not get any further. If the article had come with photos, it would have possibly been understandable by a dimwit like me.

Does anyone else have a set of instructions or photos that would help me?

If I can't figure it out, I think my best option is to put the whole printer in distilled water:)

thanks,
Richard

Maybe a service manual for your Epson 1200 printer ? I'm sure there
are other suppliers.
