KK2 cleaning on 7000?

KK2 cleaning on 7000?

2003-09-16 by Bruce Kinch

My 7000 seems to have developed a problem clog (PiezoTone Selenium)
while lying fallow in August while I was off doing other things.

Regular cleaning cycle actually made things worse (mostly the yellow
position). Down loaded some instructions on doing KK2 cleaning, but
cannot find "Check Cleaning" option as described in those
instructions.

Anyone able to take me through the step-by-step? The service manual
doesn't offer much help.

Also, any equivalent of the desktop printer's Windex soaked paper
towel under the head routine? Or any other helpful hints?
