Lightroom: Custom crop aspect ratio?

Lightroom: Custom crop aspect ratio?

2016-12-02 by Lew Schwartz

After a custom crop, is there some place in LR where I can learn the aspect ratio of the crop? It's not in the metadata which gives image dimensions. It'd be a great help when ordering mats & frames.

In the Develop module press the I key to display the pixel dimensions of your photograph. Simple arithmetic will provide you with the Aspect ratio.

I have updated Lr CC and pressing the I key (as in Information) in the Develop module shows exposure details in the upper left corner of my screen. But is shows nothing about pixel dimensions. What am I missing?

In Grid mode you can see the pixel dimensions under Metadata.

Check View, Options - there are two information overlay options and you can select up to three details for each. When viewing the photo in develop, cycle between these (and none) by pressing I again.
