Digital BW, The Print

Step 1
     Decide to convert your 3800 to a Carbon ink printer.
Step 2
     Decide to keep two Epson color inks in your system to use as toners (in this case, M and Y).
Step 3
    Realize that you cannot simply flush out the old inks, because you will also be flushing perfectly good M and Y inks that you plan to use.
Step 4
    Alter a QTR Ink Pattern Page to remove the M and Y strips so that you can use up the other colors by repeatedly printing this page.
Step 5
    Print, and print and print and... Well, you get the idea. I believe I have now spent more money on paper than I would have lost by simply throwing out the required amounts of M and Y inks.
When you DON'T want it, the inks in these things last forever!!
