Digital BW, The Print

I get my ink delivery this afternoon and am going to set up my 3800, again.
I have the newer refillable cartridges, the short that don't keep the ink cover from closing.
Does anyone know if I can mix those with OEM cartridges? Or do I have to replace the entire OEM set with the aftermarket set in order for them to work?

Depends on the brand.
I assume the set comes with instructions which will clarify things.

Generally speaking when (if) you need 9 working chips from the OEM cartridges, they can be mixed. In other words they can be replaced when a Epson cartridge is almost (usually not completely) empty.
