Using C6 base with ultrachrome ink

Using C6 base with ultrachrome ink

2013-01-28 by crossyprint

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can help me? I am toying with the idea of mixing a Carbon 6 inkset from Ultrachrome ink. Reason being I have alot of matte black and the printer is only working out of 6 channels. Can I use Roarks c6 base with the Epson Matte ink or would I be better off just using MIS Eboni MK. I dont want to spend much money on the printer and wish to just learn how to partition the inkset within qtr and make some nice prints out of the old beast would be awesome too...

Thanks

Rafe

I suspect the inks will dilute fine, but the images it produces will be
significantly warmer than Eboni-6. I recommend using C6b base with the
Edwal LFN.
