Question for 7600 owners (potentially OT)

Question for 7600 owners (potentially OT)

2011-04-06 by nospam

I have an opportunity to purchase an Epson 7600 for a few hundred dollars.
But I don't know anything about them except they are discontinued. It should
be easy enough to do a print test to see if all the nozzles fire but what
kinds of things should I watch out for that might not be obvious?

Thank you.

Scott

I wrote a entire maintenance blog entry on LF printers that have been used infrequently - there are many hidden issues that the first go with the printer may not reveal...

http://www.inkjetmall.com/wordpress/maintenance/infrequent-printer-use/

have a read there...

Jon

I am forgetting how to get to MM2. I need to reset my counters on my 7600.

Hey, my brain was a little clearer this morning and thanks to a prod by
Mark, I found the line in the service manual. All clear.
