Papers For More Neutral Prints - Epson Stylus 1400 & MIS UT14

2010-04-23 by dpbreger

I'm using the above printer and inkset on Hahnemuhle Museum Etching Paper. Thick, textured off-white paper. I like the results but the print appears very warm to me. Any suggestions for a different matte paper to yield more neutral prints?

Thanks.
Paul B.

Paul, I am also using the same paper on the ES1400 and am delighted. I recently tried RedRiver matt the blew me away. I don't have the name with me...I'm on the road. I willtry toremember to send it next week.
Craig

Generation Alise Natural by Premier Art should produce a cooler tone.

Clayton, thank you. Price isn't bad. I'll give it a try.

Craig, I very much like the images on the Museum Etching. Some, however, seem as if they may benefit from a bit cooler treatment. Thanks.

Paul
