Digital BW, The Print

I have been using MIS ebony ink in the B position for some time and now 
the full set of UT7 inks.  My 2200 stopped recognizing first the MIS 
replacement for the magenta ink, so I switched the OEM magenta for a 
few draft jobs.  Now I am trying to print a good B&W and the printer 
won't recognize the MIS Ebony (two different cartridges) nor any of 3 
different OEM PK or K cartricges.  I am unable to run a cleaning 
cycle.  Any HELP suggestions would be appreciated.  Do I have to throw 
out this printer?  I am just totally frustrated!
