It's probably a piece of junk (in my house dog hair) that is on the surface
of the head.  When you do a cleaning cycle the wiper blade moves it to
another spot.

This is where I use a folded paper towel, or -- better -- a piece of cloth
bias tape, with windex on it and run it back and forth across the head.
