I know this is a bit off topic but just wanted to get a feel what most people think is the correct file to send to a film recorder when a black and white neg is being output. Does a 8 bit RGB file (with lack of color in it) have more "information" in it then a 8 bit grayscale image? I know it will be a smaller file size but is there info in an RGB file that would help to make a better black and white negative? The software RIP for the film recorder will take either. Mark
