Others I know have used Amazon with good success for cameras and lenses and had good luck with returns when needed--in fact I think some of the HP9180 people ordered there. However, you may be right about who gets the printer first. I feel sure the larger retailers like inkjetart, B & H, and others as larger Epson dealers will see them first. I have ordered with a deposit from inkjetart (who I use for other things also). Diane
