Hello Sarah, >I have gone through the archives and found your suggestion, Clayton, >to set the alignment to a lower number, so I set it to #2 as you had. >I am finding the dither pattern different, more horizontal now, but >not really any better. >any other suggestions? I'm losing my mind over this (not to mention >ink/paper)! I understand your frustration (been there, got the t-shirt and the coffe mug). I can't find any earlier posts in this topic, so I don't know exactly what the problem is (there are two kinds of banding). Dither banding is very small banding that usually only shows up in certain zones, ususlly dark ones around II or III. I was never able to totally get rid of this, but using the low alignment number minimized it to where a glass was needed to see it. Microbanding is more noticeable and occurs everywhere regardless of zone. This is usually caused by a clogged nozzle. Does your problem fit into either of these?
