Which version of Windows are you using?

Have you successfully copied files to this folder before?

Can you still print anything?

In Windows Explorer, if you click on the 'Edit' menu, is there an
'Undo xxxx' menu entry (where xxxx = 'delete' or 'rename' )? If so, it
might be worth selecting that entry then refreshing your view of the
C:\WINDOWS folder by using the F5 key.
