There are two simple ways to remove ink from a 4800 cartridge. 1) Prise off the top cover, lift out the bag, snip the corner off and pour into a bottle, such as a Nalgene bottle. 2) Put a very short length of plastic tubing onto a syringe and make a slanting cut at the end of the tube. Jab the syringe and tube into the valve of the cartridge and suck the ink out. You needn't have a bottle: you can just fill the R2400 cart from the syringe. I use method 1), but I have also tried method 2).
