Alan, I did everything you mention. It appears like all started when I replaced the magenta cartridge (mind it was not the first replacement but maybe the fith or the sixth...). Yesterday I tried all I could over again but still, no results. I really do not know what do now... As for using the carbon based inks I would agree with Paul were it not for the fact that there nothing on the market for the EPSON R800... Any other suggestion is welcomed guys.
