Actually, Whitney Pack station is at the trail head and there are pack
borrows at the camp.  However, hiring the packer to take things into the
camp is up to the guests, not those of us who organize the workshops.  The
borrows at camp are part of the camp and used to supply it.  We don't use
them to carry us or equipment.

If there is a subgroup who wants help from the packer, I'll help coordinate
that, but I personally don't use his services.
