Hi Clayton,

Well, Epson state that ink should be used within 6 months of the carts being 
opened, but on one list recently, there was advice not to buy a 4000/4800 
just for the larger carts unless you were printing frequently enough to use 
the carts within a month or so.

Oh, oh, that's a serious issue that needs more research.  Where did
you hear this?
