Agitate the bottles.  Then they'll last a very long time.

I've never heard of this.

Sometimes a chip won't reset or otherwise goes bad, so I do recommend people
have extra chips on hand.  (The usual problem recently is a chip marked
Yellow is Light Cyan, or the like.)
