I've found you can eliminate most of the dry time by drying the print 
with a hand-held hair dryer. This works particularly well with the 
PiezoTones, but works quite well with Epson pigments as well. This 
technique might eliminate a source of frustration for you and get you to 
your goal quicker, with more consistency maybe.
