Digital BW, The Print

Thanks Steve.  I just learned that through printing from one where I used the 'proof' with color--and then using the converted gray-lab to gray-matte tiff to print to the same hue in QTR.  I agree--this is not the way to go.

I appreciate your help.  I'm really happy overall with QTR--just have to work out my own workflow.

  Do your soft proof in the normal way (a la colour in PS) but select either
  QTR Gray Photo or QTR Gray Matte paper depending on what you are using.
