Digital BW, The Print

HARD TO KNOW WHAT MEAN...I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY BW PRINTS WITH A 
2200 AND IP...SO LONG AS YOU STAY WITH MATTE PAPER (SAME WITH QUADS, 
THOUGH)

IMAGE PRINT IS THE BEST SOLUTION I HAVE SEEN FOR BOTH COLOR AND BW ON 
A VERY WIDE VARIETY OF PAPERS. IT IS EXCELLENT ON MOST MATTE PAPER 
AND QUITE GOOD ON SOME GLOSSY AND SEMI GLOSSY, BUT THE DYE INKS ARE 
STILL BEST ON GLOSSY.

NO REASON TO KEEP THE 1280 FOR MATTE PRINTS...IF YOU LIKE GLOSSY, THE 
DYES ARE STILL BETTER, SO YOU MIGHT WANT IT FOR COLOR GLOSSY PRINTS?

SWITCHING FROM COLOR TO BW IS TOTALLY A SOFTWARE SETTING...NO 
WORKFLOW ISSUE TO SPEAK OF. THE ONLY HARDWARE CHANGE YOU NEED BE 
AWARE OF IS THAT YOU SWITCH BLACK CARTS WHEN GOING FROM MATTE PAPER 
TO GLOSSY. BUT THIS IS NO HASSLE AND NO INK IS WASTED AND THE 2200 
CARTS ARE SELF SEALING...TOTALLY A PLEASURE TO USE.
