Digital BW, The Print

I had the same experience after ~3 years of MIS CIS and VM quads... 
couldn't fix it.  Printer works fine with color dye carts.  My 
solution was to spend $150 on an HP 7660 :)  I think that pads start 
partially clog just enough to band with full ink application, but 
not for the tiny amount used in a nozzle check... but that is just 
speculation.  MIS gave me new carts and I was just trying to decide 
which inkset to try next... no rush with the 7660 though... will 
probably need to print larger before I go back down that path.
