as long as your seals are good all you have to do is get the carts and tubes full of ink. The easiest way to do this is just to use a syringe to pull ink up the tubes and then into the carts. Then when everything is filled up you have to pump enough air back into the cart to make it roughly half full (you need the air space otherwise you'll get sputtering).
