Genuine Fractals uses a proprietary file format and just has strange work flow. Who knows in five years if the GF file format will be around. Anyway your best bet is to use Photoshop CS as it has a much improved algorithm for upsizing. Visit: http://www.interpolatethis.com/ and go to the forums. I have tested SmartScale; S-Spline; GF; Photoshop CS and stair stepping in Photoshop 7 and CS and it's all so close - some images up rez better in one program than another but could never find the common denominator as to why. With that said I will say S-Spline and Fred Miranda's Stair Interpolation Pro seemed the most consistent out of all of them. Try Fred's first - it's pretty cool and easy to use. http://www.fredmiranda.com/software/
