Hi Ken, I apologize if my response gave the impression I though that... In some way I suppose I'm always responding to my teenage sons.. ;) it's a 2700 spi scanner, hence my question. From your notes you are changing the resolution by changing the output settings, choosing print size rather than file size by way of resolution. Assuming you are using Nikon Scan software, in that same pop out menu area, make sure that input and output are at 100%, and then change the resolution where the spi (dpi) number is located. I haven't used my LS2000 in a few years, so I'm not sure of the exact particulars, but I could find out if you need further assistance.
