I don't know who you are referring to, so forgive me if I'm jumping in unwanted... but... Why are you not scanning at your scanners highest resolution, of 2700 spi? This will bring your scan into PS at 2700 dpi, at the actual size of the slide or neg. You then change the print size, without using resampling... this changes the dpi accordingly. All you are changing is your print size, the file size remains constant if you don't resample, same number of pixels. > Should I do something about it? set the res at 2700, the input/output at 100%. > Why is there this difference?
