Digital BW, The Print

Last weekend my computer started restarting itself randomly. I turned 
off the auto restart in XP and was able to trace it down to the Gray 
Balancer software conflicting with my Epson 785EXP printer. I use my 
2200 for anything of importance, however I use the 785 for printing 
family snaps and stuff like that. I like the Gray Balancer and have 
had good luck getting good B&W from the 2200, so I would like both to 
be able to coexist. Has anyone run into this and is there a solution 
that anyone is aware of that would allow the use of both.
