I love it.  I use the MIS FS-N inks with an 1160.  I have the Piezo
driver and it used to do a nice job as well.  Then I started getting
very obvious banding in the mid-tones.  Using the Epson driver and
Randall curves I have no banding and actually darker blacks.  I print
on EAM, Photo Rag and Bright Cube Satin.

I cannot compare as I never used the original MIS inks.  Used the MIS
FS though and they too were great, just warmer.
