Jim,

With PS7 I start the print process by clicking on "Print with Preview..."
and then click the "More Options" box. I then select "Color Management"
instead of the default "Output" which let's you see and set the source and
destination spaces, just like PS6. If you have perhaps missed this as, I did
initially, in PS7 that might be a possible source of your problem.
