I finally got my nozzle checks to show a total lack of clogs (using Cb6 in an Epson 1400) with one exception, the Cyan position. I've already run the syringe push/pull technique which took care of some clogs but not all. I have about seven stubborn empty dashes in the Cyan nozzle check . I figure that's about 7%. What if I were to increase one of the parameters in the qidf, increasing the value by 7%? I know next to nothing about which parameter does what, but let's assume it's the LIMIT entry. It's now 30 so a 7% increase would be about 32. (Maybe it's some other parameter, please advise.)
Or should I simply re-linearize the file? I can now use the Stepwedge Tool now, pretty slick.
Or why not do another syringe push/pull? Truth is, I've done it once, it went smoothly but I'm reluctant about doing it again.
Or is a 93% cart with 30% dilution even noticeable?
Thanks all,
Paul W.
