Hi Rob,

Regarding the 150C error, the Service Manual says:

PG Phase Detection Error. The Platen Gap Home Position Sensor does not report to the Main Board.

Check operation of the Platen Gap Mechanism.
Check Platen Gap Home Position Sensor. 
Check the Platen Gap Motor.

Hope that is helpful. Sorry I don't know any more about it.
