I use a WorkForce printer for everyday text printing that also can be used for fine art with the right inks and profiles. I can feed 300 gsm paper through it with the usual slight assist. The claim to fame for these is speed with text.
They now have a monochrome version. I have not seen any output from it.
I am uncertain of the empty cart availability for third party inks. Mine is an older 13" model.
The DuraBrite ink is pigment.
Good luck with the search.

Does anyone know if there is a letter size printer that uses archival pigment inks and will accept heavy matte paper? My last 24" wide printer has been carried out feet first, and for now, I want to make small prints. Thanks,ArleneLove
